Welcome to The Pits... This is where you'll find all the stuff that is on the site... that doesn't fall into the other catergories. Alex Cochrane takes it to Queanbeyan.
On the 12th February, Local Rider Alex Cochrane travelled up to Queanbeyan to compete in the 1st Stadium Motocross Series. He competed in 4 races, with excellent starts in each race. After achieving 4th place in the first race, Alex achieved 11th place in race 2 after a small mishap left him at the back of the field. But to his credit, and in true FSCMCC spirit, Alex fought his way back to regain a position at the front of the pack. Race 3 saw a change in fortunes, as a holeshot out of the first corner enabled him to lead the race and come home in 1st position. The final race of the day saw another great start put Alex at the front of the pack, a lead he held right up until the last lap. Unfortunately Alex was passed and came home in second place. Although it was a very warm day, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Nichols and Donnelly hit the Lake.
Mitchell and Luke headed up to Lake Macquarie and competed in what the local described as "trying conditions", a description that our riders and attending club members would not argue. Both riders raced hard in the conditions, and i'll give you more information when it becomes available.
